Professional At Home Jobs (https://professionalathomejobs.com) is now in search for a Freelance Content Editor to work virtually in the U.S. only.
 
JOB TYPE: Part-time
 
SUMMARY:
 
The job involves reviewing, editing, and rewriting copy and ensuring content is optimized according to SEO best practices. This copy will be optimized for search engines and could include the following: Landing and Product pages, press releases, social media posts, video scripts, email content, and blogs.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Edit and redevelop content received from product marketing managers. This includes closely reading the copy to determine clarity and accuracy, rewriting copy where needed to improve clarity and accuracy, and performing grammar and plagiarism checks.
  • Ensure clear, persuasive, informative, and compelling marketing copy with the target audience in mind.
  • Research and fact-check content.
  • Edit across multiple content formats, including but not limited to website and landing pages, blogs, social media, video transcripts, press releases, and emails.
  • Report directly to the Content Head and work closely with the content team.

 
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE…

  • MUST be a U.S. citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or Journalism.
  • At least 1 to 3 years of content editing experience. 1 year of writing and editing experience is preferred.
  • Fair understanding of cybersecurity concepts along with an interest in learning more about it.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good research, analytical thinking skills, and a team player.
  • High comfort level with technical terms, particularly Cybersecurity.

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Computer, Internet, and a home office set-up.
 
PAY: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
